How We Generate Content
Our Service uses a combination of traditional Chinese calendar algorithms, curated cultural databases, and AI-assisted natural language processing to provide calendar information, festival details, and personalized readings. To generate personalized content, we use only non-identifying parameters (such as birth date, time, and gender). We do not send your name, email, account ID, or any other personally identifying information to third-party content providers.
Third-party providers used for content generation do not retain or use these inputs for training purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties, nor do we disclose Personal Information to third parties for targeted or cross-context behavioral marketing purposes.

Data Shared with Apple for Refund Reviews
When you request a refund for an In-App Purchase through Apple, Apple may ask us to provide information about your use of the purchased content to assist with reviewing your refund request. This information may include:

- Account age (how long you have been a user)
- Purchase and refund history (aggregated dollar amounts, not individual transactions)
- Whether the purchased content was delivered and functioning properly
- Account status (active or terminated)
This data is shared only with Apple and only when you initiate a refund request. Apple uses this information solely to assist with reviewing your refund request, in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of this data sharing at any time in the app's Settings. If you opt out, we will not share any consumption data with Apple when you request a refund. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the app or request refunds.
Third-Party Advertising Partners
We work with the following third-party advertising partners to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to reach people who may be interested in our Service:

If you grant tracking permission
When you tap Allowon Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, we share the following with the partners listed above for the purpose of advertising attribution and audience building:
- Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
- App events such as installs, registrations, and purchases, tied to your IDFA for campaign measurement
If you deny tracking permission
When you tap Ask App Not to Track, no IDFA is shared with these partners. Only Apple-sanctioned aggregated signals transmitted through Apple's SKAdNetwork framework are used for privacy-preserving attribution. SKAdNetwork does not track individual users.
Changing your answer
You can revoke tracking permission at any time on your iPhone at Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Yueliang. Turning tracking off stops IDFA sharing immediately.
If we add new advertising partners beyond the ones listed above, we will update this section before sharing data with them.
Data Security and Storage
We have implemented technical and organizational precautions to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of your Personal Information. However, no website or transmission can guarantee complete security. The Personal Information you provide is generally stored on servers in the United States.
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your Personal Information will be transferred to our servers in the United States and governed by applicable U.S. data protection laws.
Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer necessary, we delete it or keep it in a form that does not identify you.
Upon account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.
